El principal puerto de carga se encuentra en puerto España, la capital, hay un segundo puerto de importancia en la Isla Trinidad, Point Lisas. Adicionalmente operan Chaguaramas, Point a Pierre, Point Fortín y Scarborough, en Tobago. En puerto España se maneja carga seca, contenedores, carga en general, carga frágil y trafico de turistas, el Puerto de Scaborough atiende el tráfico de carga entre las islas y cruceros; Point Lisas cuenta con instalaciones especializadas para manejar anhídridos, amoniaco, methanol, urea, y carga general.
